Quality, responsibility and faucets designed for long-term use from a family-owned company.

Our guiding principle for long-term corporate stewardship.

Enkelfähigkeit is more than an individual project or a single metric at heinrichschulte. It is part of the way we understand and manage our business. As a family-run business, we consider tomorrow in the decisions we make today and continue to develop our companies with future generations in mind.

Our guiding principle encompasses three connected areas: economic resilience, the continued development of our operational processes, and social responsibility. The owner families behind our strong group of companies are personally committed to the long-term development of the companies, to our employees and their families, and to our customers. A stable economic foundation enables us to develop our sites and invest in modern technologies, support jobs at our local sites, and responsibly designed processes. Manufacturing at our German sites, a consistent commitment to quality and reliable products are integral to this approach.

At the heart of our companies are the people who shape heinrichschulte through their knowledge, experience and commitment. Together, we support the long-term development of our companies. In this way, Enkelfähigkeit – Thinking in Generations becomes a guiding principle that we bring to life together.

Enkelfähigkeit –
Thinking in Generations

Economic Resilience

For heinrichschulte, economic responsibility means planning for the long term, maintaining the ability to invest and creating value at our German sites. As a family-run company, we think in generations: for the owner families, for our employees and their families, and for our customers, who rely on dependable products and collaborative business relationships.

Developing our operations responsibly

The continued development of our operational processes is a central part of the way we understand and manage our business. Energy use, material use, packaging solutions and production technologies are connected areas of development. As a family-run company, we take a long-term approach to these areas and continue to develop them with future generations in mind.

Social Responsibility and Engagement

Our social responsibility centres on the people who shape heinrichschulte through their knowledge, experience and commitment. As a family-run company, we take responsibility for our employees, their working conditions, their health and their personal development.

Manufacturing at our two sites in Iserlohn and the complementary central foundry in Olpe are important parts of our production network. Since joining the de Gruyter/Stach Group in 2004, production capabilities have been expanded and selected manufacturing processes have been brought together within the group.

Investments in our own manufacturing operations, modern production facilities, digital processes, and research and development support our commitment to quality, competitiveness and innovation. Reliable business relationships, clear responsibilities and transparent processes provide the foundation for long-term trust.

Economic resilience gives us the capacity to continue developing our companies and sites over the long term. It is therefore an essential part of our guiding principle of Enkelfähigkeit – Thinking in Generations.

Developing our operations responsibly

The continued development of our operational processes is a central part of the way we understand and manage our business. Energy use, material use, packaging solutions and production technologies are connected areas of development. As a family-run company, we take a long-term approach to these areas and continue to develop them with future generations in mind.

The way we handle packaging is part of this commitment. In cooperation with Interzero, heinrichschulte uses established structures for the take-back and recovery of transport and sales packaging. This enables us to incorporate packaging into the continued development of our operational processes and establish practical solutions for everyday business.

The technical development of our production is another important element. Our new electroplating facility, photovoltaic systems, battery technology, modern CNC machining centres and further investments in production technology illustrate how we are preparing our sites step by step for future requirements. Our focus is on reliable processes, strong manufacturing expertise and the long-term development of our technical infrastructure.

In this way, we combine responsible corporate stewardship with the continued development of our sites and processes. For us, this is an essential part of Enkelfähigkeit – Thinking in Generations.

Social Responsibility and Engagement

At heinrichschulte, social responsibility centres on the people who, through their knowledge, experience and dedication, shape the quality of the company. As a family-run business, we bear responsibility for our employees, their working conditions, their health and their personal development.

Occupational safety, health protection and the ergonomic design of workplaces are established elements of our corporate responsibility. Our aim is to provide a working environment in which people can work safely, healthily and effectively. Clear points of contact, reliable communication and practical support are part of everyday working life.

Through further training, courses and individual support, heinrichschulte strengthens the skills of its employees. This creates personal development opportunities, supports the retention and transfer of specialist knowledge and contributes to the company’s long-term development.
Social responsibility connects the commitment of the owner families with our responsibility towards employees, customers and business partners. It is an essential part of our guiding principle of Enkelfähigkeit – Thinking in Generations.

Interzero Recycling Certificate for Transport Packaging

For the take-back and recovery of transport and commercially generated sales packaging, heinrichschulte works with Interzero. The collected packaging is handled through established take-back and recovery structures.

This allows heinrichschulte to integrate the handling of packaging into its operational processes in a structured way. The recycling certificate documents the cooperation with a specialised partner and provides additional transparency on how transport and sales packaging is handled after use.

For heinrichschulte, this is a practical element in the continued development of our operational processes and therefore part of our guiding principle of Enkelfähigkeit – Thinking in Generations.

Manufacturing in Germany and connected sites

heinrichschulte stands for manufacturing in Germany and remains firmly committed to its Iserlohn location. Within the de Gruyter/Stach Group, the capabilities of the individual companies and sites complement one another. Manufacturing, surface finishing, assembly and logistics are closely coordinated.

Cooperation within the group strengthens our manufacturing expertise and supports reliable operational processes. When selecting suppliers, we also focus on stable business relationships, clear coordination and long-term collaboration.

heinrichschulte uses an electrically powered eActros for selected internal transport operations. This enables us to continue developing our internal logistics and gain practical experience with new drive technologies in an operational environment.

Manufacturing in Germany, technical expertise and cooperation within our group shape the long-term development of heinrichschulte. They form part of our understanding of Enkelfähigkeit – Thinking in Generations.
